The Design 

• new fabric of oriental design will be used 

• triangles and diamonds will be the basic elements used in the pattern of the quilt 

• there are seven different unit types of the dedication categories 

• the size and position of the triangles, diamonds and blocks would relate to the value of the donation 

• there are nine different categories of donation, ranging from $200 to $100,000 

• the Honouree's name would be applied onto the fabric as a form of recognition 

• the position of the unit will be on a first-come-first-serve basis - the earlier you donate, the more prominent position you can get 

• there are 1,547 units in total 
  the finished size of the quilt will be 7.5 feet x 15 feet
