To begin, submit a completed Volunteer Application Form, Confidentiality Form and where applicable, the Tuberculosis Test Form, to the Volunteer Coordinator in the geographical area you prefer to work in. Some assignments also require a vulnerable sector screening. A commitment of at least three months is required from all volunteers, except students volunteering in the summer. Some assignments such as Friendly Visiting would require a longer commitment.\r\n\r\nWe will arrange a placement for you based on your expressed interests, learning objectives and time availability. Your assigned department will give you a workplace orientation and support you throughout your time at Yee Hong.\r\n\r\nAll service volunteers are centrally managed by the Volunteer and Advocacy Department of the Social Services Division.
