Yee Hong CEO Glen Chow Inspired by Ontario Tech University Students
Yee Hong is proud of its partnership with Ontario Tech University and our CEO, Glen Chow, was excited to participate as a judge in their Three-Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition. The competition challenges graduate students to present their research and its impact to a panel of non-specialist judges in three minutes using one slide.
“It was so inspiring to listen to these amazing students share complex information in just three minutes,” Glen shared of his experience as a judge. “They were energetic and driven and their presentations were motivating. Each of them deserves recognition for their hard work and presentation. It was a difficult decision.”
Congratulations to Jessica M. Biasin, a Master of Science (Forensic Psychology) student in Ontario Tech’s Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, who won the competition.
Also recognized were runner-up Melissa Handford (Ontario Tech Faculty of Social Science and Humanities) and People’s Choice award recipient Sonia Mirza (Ontario Tech Faculty of Health Sciences).
