Summer is in Full Swing at Yee Hong!

Summer is in full swing at Yee Hong’s Community Services, and our seniors are making every moment count!

From cheering on the FIFA World Cup to soaking up the sunshine outdoors, the past few weeks have been filled with laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories.

Our Summer Special Day Program kicked off the soccer season with World Cup trivia, exciting challenges, and our crowd-favourite ” ;Scoring a Wonder Goal” game—bringing out everyone’s competitive spirit and plenty of smiles!

We also celebrated the arrival of summer with an Outdoor Day at the park. Seniors and caregivers travelled together on the Yee Hong bus to enjoy flying kites and paper airplanes, blowing bubbles, and spending quality time in the fresh air.

In July, our clients joined the Canada Day Carnival hosted by the Markham Long-Term Care Activation Team, where they tried water-transfer tattoos for the first time, played festive carnival games, and captured joyful memories at colourful photo stations.

And we are just getting started! This summer, we are looking forward to even more exciting events, including:
