Mother’s Day gifts for Yee Hong Garden Terrace residents.
Instead of roses, residents at Yee Hong Garden Terrace (YHGT) received face masks for Mother’s Day this year. Thanks go to two thoughtful volunteers, Kim Lawrence and Aki Ng, who spent the past two weeks cutting and sewing masks with donated fabrics. A total of 320 cloth masks were delivered to YHGT and included in gift bags for all 308 units on the Mother’s Day weekend.
“The coronavirus won’t affect how we express our love and care for our seniors,” said Kim and Aki.
