May 8 to 14 is National Nursing Week!
During this time, we recognize our nursing profession colleagues for their exceptional service and their dedication to the profession, to Yee Hong and most importantly, to the people they care for across the health and social services systems.
Whether they work in our clients’ homes and community programs, our hospice residence, or our long-term care homes, our nursing colleagues work tirelessly to support our residents and clients to “live their lives to the fullest – with independence health and dignity.”
We have an incredible team of nursing professionals at Yee Hong including our home support teams, personal support workers, Registered Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses. Our nursing team is well-supported by other staff, including our physicians and allied health professionals, as well as our food services, housekeeping and facility maintenance teams.
Every “Yee Honger” is the reason why our seniors enjoy compassionate, person-centered care from Yee Hong.
